The Beard showcased his usual offensive prowess yet again. This time it came against the Brooklyn Nets, spoiling the long-awaited return of point guard Jeremy Lin.
Harden poured in 36 points on 12-of-27 from the floor en route to the 122-118 victory in Houston. Harden also collected eight boards and tallied 11 dimes in the victory.
Lin, while he didn’t receive the start from Kenny Atkinson, didn’t disappoint. He added 10 points and seven assists in his return. Brook Lopez led the way with 26 points for the Nets. He did, however, have only one rebound.
