Everybody knew taking on Gregg Popovich’s San Antonio Spurs in Texas would be a tall task. I mean, this Brooklyn Nets team, while seemingly on the right track, is still just a six-win squad.
It showed on Saturday night when the Spurs drubbed them to a 29-point victory.
Kawhi Leonard starred with 30 points on 10-of-18 from the floor including 4-7 from three and 6-6 from the free throw line. LaMarcus Aldridge chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds.
For Brooklyn, Bojan Bogdanovich led the way with 20 points.
