Brooklyn Nets: 3 things to watch against surprising Dallas

The Brooklyn Nets are right back at it Wednesday night, heading to American Airlines Center to take on the banged-up Dallas Mavericks.

Brooklyn (8-10) picked up its second win in three games and improved to 5-6 on the road Tuesday night, riding a big fourth-quarter surge to a 104-92 win over the Miami Heat.

Dallas (7-9) last played Monday night, losing a 98-88 decision to the Memphis Grizzlies on the road that snapped a four-game winning streak.

Neither of these teams was expected to be much of a factor in the postseason races in their respective conferences, but so far both teams are playing above preseason expectations despite injury issues.
