Sean Kilpatrick, the hard-nosed scoring guard out of Yonkers, New York, has been overlooked by many spectators throughout his journey to the NBA.
After being touted as a three-star recruit coming out of high school, Kilpatrick signed with the University of Cincinnati, the only school to offer him a scholarship, and was hungry to prove his doubters wrong at the collegiate level.
Unfortunately, Kilpatrick was forced to redshirt his freshman year due to the arrival of his new teammate, Lance Stephenson. After gashing the competition in Brooklyn, Stephenson was a consensus five-star recruit, which left Kilpatrick watching in street clothes from the end of the bench.
