Cliff Alexander hit three of four of his three point shots and showed off a mid-range game Tuesday on his way to a 27 point performance that highlighted a 123-98 win over the Westchester Knicks. The 6’9”, 250-pound Alexander also grabbed 13 rebounds, all defensive.
It was the biggest win of the year for the young Nets. In addition to Alexander, Long Island’s offense featured five other double-figure scorers, two of whom, R.J. Hunter (23) and J.J. Moore (20) finished with better than 20 points. Hunter shot 8-of-18 overall, 3-of-9 from three.
The game was played before empty stands at Barclays Center.
