After years of holding their open practices at Ramapo College, during the New Jersey era, then at Barclays Center, at the beginning of the Brooklyn era, the Nets the last couple of years have moved the annual fan event really out into the open at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Not far from Barclays and HSS Training Center, the park has spectacular views and several courts where the team can show their skills and the fans can both watch a simulated practice and try to emulate their favorites’ skills.
There was a band, face-painting, dancers, autograph signings, access to players, contests of all kinds .
