As of this writing, no assets have been named for the Nets to receive in exhange - however, the Clippers have been reportedly shopping NBA Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford around the league, so his name could potentially come up in these negotiations.
With Jason Kidd now in Milwaukee, many have speculated about a potential shift in Pierce's desire to remain in Brooklyn. If Pierce indeed wants to survey other options, a sign-and-trade would benefit both him and the Nets going forward.
Chat Sports will have more on this breaking story as additional information is made available.
