BOWLING GREEN — Cameron Pettaway, Dorian Pringle, and a lot of their classmates had the opportunity to learn from a senior-laden squad in their first season on Bowling Green State University’s football team in 2024.
With a bunch of positions open this year under first-year BGSU head coach Eddie George, they will have plenty of opportunities to display their talents. Thursday’s season-opening win over Lafayette showed just how impactful they can be.
Between Pettaway’s kickoff return for a touchdown, Pringle’s relentless pursuit of the ball on defense, and other second-year players’ solid efforts, BGSU’s young crop of standouts had a night to remember at Doyt Perry Stadium.
