BOWLING GREEN — No matter what happened Monday, Bowling Green knew its outlook for the 2020-21 season was going to change significantly.
The Falcons had eight scholarship players returning and a recruiting class in place to replace their outgoing seniors, but the biggest domino had yet to fall.
However, when Justin Turner spurned the traditional route taken by most players in his position — a star mid-major player being courted by power-conference teams — to return for another season at BG, the Falcons kept their status.
With Turner at the helm, Bowling Green figures to be a serious contender in the Mid-American Conference again.
