Final Results (.pdf)Terre Haute, Ind. – Makenzie Wheat won the shot put and the Falcons added a pair of third-place finishes on the final day of the Gibson Invitational Saturday, hosted by Indiana State. Bowling Green finished in seventh place out of 13 teams in the final standings with 62 points.
Host Indiana State scored 124.5 points to edge out Missouri State with 122. Central Michigan was third with 93 and Eastern Illinois followed with 83.5. Illinois State had 81 and Northern Illinois scored 67 to finish just in front of the Falcons. BGSU defeated Marquette (30), Milwaukee (26), Loyola (24), Western Michigan (16), Valparaiso (5) and Bradley (1).
