BOWLING GREEN — For the time being, there still is a fall football season to be played, albeit one that has changed dramatically.
Two major conferences, the Big Ten and Pac-12, said last week they would only play conference games if the fall season is played, which has left plenty of Group of Five schools — Toledo and Bowling Green among them — with incomplete schedules.
The Falcons had contracts to play Ohio State and Illinois this season, while the Rockets were slated to make a visit to Michigan State, games that won't be played, or at least not in 2020.
