Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are football player Darius Wade and women's soccer player Maureen Kennedy.
Male Athlete of the Week
Darius Wade, a graduate transfer senior from Middletown, Del., completed 22-of-32 passes for 253 yards and three touchdowns in BGSU Football's 46-3 season-opening win over Morgan State. He added 42 rushing yards for 295 yard of offense and had no interceptions.
