BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University football team had a quick turnaround between its most prominent victory and one of its toughest opponents in back-to-back weeks.
Its 27-20 loss on Saturday to Kent State proved that there’s still work to do.
Head coach Scot Loeffler spoke Monday of his team developing a sense of urgency around the game.
“The message to the team this week is urgency, attention to detail, and that everything matters,” Loeffler said at his weekly press conference. “That’s what championship teams do. At times we do that during the week, at times we don’t, and that’s why we’re having inconsistent results during games.
