BOWLING GREEN — Two members of the Bowling Green State University football team, defensive lineman Malik Brown and running back Brian Jennings, were charged with forgery Friday.
Both Brown and Jennings will appear in Bowling Green Municipal Court for a preliminary hearing on Monday, May 8.
The BG football program issued a statement which read, "We are working with the authorities to determine the details of an incident involving Malik Brown and Brian Jennings. As we learn more, we will make a decision on the status of each within our program."
Brown is a transfer from Tennessee who finished with six tackles in 11 games last season.
