ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands – Redshirt-junior guard Justin Turner scored on a floating jumper with 3.8 seconds left to lift the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team to a 77-75 victory over Western Kentucky University on Friday (Nov. 22) night. The contest was played on the island of St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands) in the opening round of the 2019 Paradise Jam.
A strong crowd of 1,924 packed the UVI Sports and Fitness Center for the 20th-annual Paradise Jam.
