The Mid-American Conference contest was played in front of 3,795 fans inside the Stroh Center, marking the program's seventh-largest crowd in the arena's nine-year history.
After and-one layup from Ohio's Ben Vander Plas, the Bobcats led by a score of 61-58 with just 43 seconds left in regulation.
