An hour and 37 minute rain delay caused the second game of the scheduled doubleheader to be pushed back to Sunday due to darkness. The doubleheader on Sunday will start at noon.
Bowling Green falls to 9-17 (0-4 MAC) with the loss, while Toledo improves to 5-21-1 (2-2 MAC) with the victory.
"I thought we pitched well enough to win," said head coach Danny Schmitz.
