BOWLING GREEN —The Bowling Green State University football team took significant strides forward on offense during spring practice, but coach Scot Loeffler continues to preach patience.
The Falcons showed marked improvement at the tight end and running back positions, as well as along the offensive line, the third-year coach said.
“We've taken another step forward,” Loeffler said. “With our running backs and our tight ends, we will have the ability to score. We just need to bring the wide receiver crew along.”
Loeffler said both the offensive and defensive lines also made big strides.
“They were exceptional,” he said.
