CLEVELAND, Ohio – Three from the Bowling Green tennis program have been named to Academic All-MAC honors for their efforts both on and off the courts in the 2017-18 season, including junior Polina Radeva and sophomores Ayumi Sasaki and Marharita-Sophia Tavpash.
Three of just 27 individuals to earn the honor this season, it is Radeva's second Academic All-MAC accolade, while it is a first in the careers of Sasaki and Tavpash.
A native of Varna, Bulgaria, Radeva has earned a 3.76 cumulative GPA while majoring in psychology. The junior was named to First Team All-MAC honors for the first time in her career, and earned MAC Doubles Team of the Week accolades with partner Sasaki on Jan.
