BOWLING GREEN — Catterion Thompson scored 20 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out four assists as the Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team defeated Morehead State 79-65 on Saturday at the Stroh Center.
Thompson was one of two Falcons to net double-figures, as Kaillie Hall posted 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Madisen Parker and Morgan McMillen scored nine points each, and Jane Uecker scored eight points.
Kadie Hempfling contributed six points and a team-high nine rebounds.
BGSU (2-0) settled in from beyond the 3-point arc and limited Morehead State’s chances from the same range.
