BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced weekly awards Monday afternoon (March 9). Of those named, Tim Theocharidis earned the Defenseman of the Week for the conference, being the first time this season he has been recognized, and the first time in his collegiate career with the Falcons.

In the first round of the WCHA playoffs against Alaska, Theocharidis tallied a three-point performance on Friday, registering a point on three of the Falcons' four goals in the 4-2 win. Theocharidis' day began with an assist on Alex Barber's goal before he scored a goal of his own, coming on the power play and also scored as the game-winner for the Falcons.
