BOWLING GREEN — The 2023 college football season is quickly approaching.
In less than two months, Bowling Green State University will hit the gridiron with its season opener on the road against Liberty at noon on Sept. 2. The Falcons, with a nice mix of returning standouts from last year and promising players from the transfer portal, are aiming for more success after having their best season since 2015.

Connor Bazelak, QB
The most experienced player at the most important position on BGSU’s roster is Bazelak, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound senior who transferred from Indiana after playing three seasons at Missouri.
