Ten Trimble Triples Trip Falcons

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program came up short against the Akron Zips Thursday night (Jan. 20) at the Stroh Center, 91-66. Akron's Bryan Trimble Jr. stole the show with 33 points, going 10-for-14 from behind the arc. On the Bowling Green side, logged his third 20-point game of the season, hitting the mark exactly in his 100th start as a Falcon. BGSU will now turn their attention to Western Michigan this Saturday (Jan. 22) in Kalamazoo.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Falcons jumped out to a 6-0 lead with Daeqwon Plowden scoring the first four points of the game and prompting an Akron timeout.
