BOWLING GREEN — Center Dylan Swingle has been cleared to play this season by the NCAA.
Bowling Green announced the decision in a release Friday evening shortly before the Falcons were due to play a game at Louisiana State.
BGSU said in the statement that Swingle, a transfer from Duquesne, would be in uniform and available for its game against LSU.
He will have four years of eligibility remaining.
A former three-star recruit from Chillicothe, Ohio, Swingle redshirted his only season at Duquesne.
At 6-foot-10, 295 pounds, Swingle is the biggest player on the Bowling Green roster and will fill an immediate position of need.
