KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team received a boost from the top of the order Friday (April 21) against the Western Michigan Broncos. DJ Newman and Kyle Gurney went a combined 5-for-8 with two walks and three runs scored from the top two spots in the batting order. Nathan Archer added a solo home run to the offensive effort, but it was WMU's two-out rallies that made the difference in the 6-4 final. The Falcons and Broncos are set to continue the series on Saturday (April 22) with a 1 p.
