Bowling Green State University women's soccer standout Madison Schupbach will head overseas to continue her career. Schupbach is heading to Wales later this week to join Cardiff Met Ladies Football Club.
Cardiff Met LFC captured the Welsh Premier League championship in April, and the club will now represent Welsh soccer on the European stage. The title means that Cardiff Met LFC has secured qualification to the UEFA Women's Champions League.
"I'm am so excited to have the opportunity to continue my soccer career in Wales with Cardiff Met LFC for the following year," said Schupbach.
