Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Medical Mutual Athletes of the Week, as selected by the strategic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are baseball player Tyler Ross and women's soccer player Kennedy White.
Tyler Ross, a sophomore from Lewis Center, Ohio, was a catalyst offensively for Bowling Green in its series victory on the road over the James Madison University Dukes. Ross had at least one hit in all three games, going 6-for-12 at the dish with three RBI and five runs scored.
