BOWLING GREEN — Cato June is going back to Indianapolis.
Bowling Green State University’s linebackers coach has accepted a position with the Indianapolis Colts as their assistant linebackers coach, according to multiple reports Tuesday.
He joins the Colts staff under new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley and new linebackers coach Richard Smith. Bradley replaced Toledo native Matt Eberflus after Eberflus was hired to become the Chicago Bears’ head coach this offseason.
BGSU did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation as of Tuesday night.
June joined Bowling Green’s staff in March, 2021, as the run game coordinator and outside linebackers coach under head coach Scot Loeffler.
