Re-evaluating Bowling Green's biggest storylines if there is a spring season

BOWLING GREEN — A sign of the times, everything changed in a matter of days for Bowling Green football.

The Falcons began Aug. 6 expecting to take the field for their first contact practice the next day. Later that afternoon, a meeting of the Mid-American Conference council of presidents did not reach a resolution on a plan forward, which became the beginning of the end for a fall season.

By the morning of Aug. 8, the MAC became the first FBS league to suspend play, with plans — albeit far from certain — to play in the spring.
