BOWLING GREEN — Finding the right players to bring in through the NCAA transfer portal can go a long way in helping a team succeed.
For coach Ty Eigner and his Bowling Green State University hockey team, the four players the Falcons added this year through the portal have already proven their value in numerous ways.
Seniors Josh Nodler and Spencer Kersten, as well as juniors Owen Ozar and Tommy Pasanen, have brought experience, leadership, and solid play on the ice to a young BGSU team that has eight freshmen and six sophomores on its 27-player roster.
