BOWLING GREEN — What a difference a week made for Connor Bazelak.
A short memory certainly helped Bowling Green State University’s quarterback bounce back from a disastrous opening game in a Falcons’ jersey.
“Kind of flushed everything that happened last week,” Bazelak said of his performance in a 34-24 season-opening loss at Liberty on Sept. 2. “I feel like I’m pretty mature in my approach and just kind of moving on, and it was one game.”
The second game for Bazelak at BGSU – a 38-15 victory over Eastern Illinois on Saturday at Doyt Perry Stadium – couldn’t have gone better.
