BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University swimming team wrapped up their weekend in Cleveland State's Magnus Cup tonight (November 20), finishing fifth of eleven with a team score of 647.50. The highlight of the weekend, though, was Daisy Platts setting the Magnus Cup and BGSU record in the 100 backstroke.
The Falcons got off to a strong start on the first day of competition, initially clocking in at fourth place. The night started off with a fourth place finish in the 200 freestyle relay from the team of Daisy Platts, Gillian Boal, Elayna Krupp and Anna Eriksson.
