Rory McIlroy, who finally achieved golfing immortality at the Masters last month by becoming the sixth golfer to complete the career Grand Slam, might be the one to beat at Quail Hollow, where he has won four times. He will try to become the first player to win the Masters and PGA Championship in the same year since Jack Nicklaus in 1975.
