Northern Illinois scored 11 runs in the top of the ninth inning to pull away with the victory.
"We really just have to flush this game from our systems," said head coach . "We obviously gave them too many free base runners, and a good team will make you pay for that. We still have two games to go in this series, and the rest of the weekend is very important for our program.
