No. 12 Falcons Take Game One Against No. 3 Minnesota State

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The No. 12 ranked Bowling Green State University hockey team defeated the No. 3 ranked Minnesota State Mavericks 4-1 on Friday night. Connor Ford led the way for the Falcons, scoring two goals to propel Bowling Green to victory. Ford was accompanied by Brandon Kruse, a goal and an assist, Max Johnson, two assists, and Alec Rauhauser, two assists.This is just the third loss on the season for Minnesota State, and their second in the WCHA. The win for the Falcons brings the WCHA standings to a close showdown for first place with just three points separating the Falcons and Mavericks, with Michigan Tech stuck between them.
