Bowling Green State University men's soccer standout Anthony Mwembia has been named to the College Soccer News Freshman All-America Team. Mwembia was named to the second team as the web site unveiled the team earlier this week.

Mwembia, who hails from Toulouse, France, was named to the All-Mid-American Conference First Team, becoming just the second freshman in school history, and the first in 22 years, to earn all-conference first-team honors. He also was named to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) All-Ohio First Team.
Mwembia started all but one of the Falcons' 19 matches in goal in his first season in Northwest Ohio.
