Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Jet's Pizza Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are soccer players Anthony Mwembia and Erica Hubert.
Male Athlete of the Week
Anthony Mwembia, a junior from Toulouse, France, recorded a shutout in the Falcons' lone match of the week, a scoreless draw with Akron in the MAC opener. Mwembia made a career-high 10 saves and broke up a number of other crosses and scoring chances in shutting out the Zips.
