Bowling Green State University men's soccer standout Anthony Mwembia has been named a Mid-American Conference Player of the Week. The league office made the announcement on Tuesday morning (Nov. 12).
Mwembia earns co-Player-of-the-Week accolades, sharing this week's honor with Akron's Colin Biros.
Mwembia garners a league P-O-W award for the first time this season and the second time in his storied Falcon career.
Mwembia, a native of Toulouse, France, had a 2-0-0 record and a goals-against average of 0.00 last week, as the Falcons won a pair of matches to wrap up the regular season.
