Kennedy Blair, the Michigan Associated Press 2023 Division 2 girls basketball player of the year, has switched her commitment from Bowling Green State University to Michigan State, according to her high school coach Mary Laney.
The 5-foot-9 senior guard from Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Mich., originally signed with BGSU in November. She is the second player from BGSU’s 2023 signing class to follow former Falcons’ coach Robyn Fralick to Michigan State, joining 6-4 center Mary Meng of Midview High School in Grafton.
Blair finished third in the Michigan Ms. Basketball award voting in the 2022-23 season.
