The Falcons had four different players score double digits with junior guard Zack Denny leading the way with 19. Senior forward and MAC East Player of the Week Spencer Parker was close behind with 16 while guards Wes Alcegaire and Ismali Ali finished with 12 and 11 respectively.
The team also beat the Rockets by a large margin in bench points and points in the paint, winning second unit points 22-9 and the paint battle 32-20.
The game was tied at the end of the first half and stayed tightly contested throughout the second. The game saw four lead changes and three ties by the final buzzer.
