BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green's Brooke McNamara was named the MAC Co-Specialist of the Week for meets that competed through February 27. It is the first career weekly accolade for McNamara from the Mid-American Conference. She shares the honor with Western Michigan's Amanda Gruber.
McNamara (Fr., Howell, N.J.) scored a personal record on the floor with a 9.875, which was the second-best score in the event during a tri-meet with Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan. The score aided BGSU to beat EMU in a conference meet. Western Michigan was competing in the event in a non-conference capacity.
