Bowling Green State University softball standout Marisa Shook has been named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week for the East Division. The weekly award winners were announced by the league office on Tuesday (Feb. 23).
Shook earns the honor for the first time in her Falcon career.
Shook, a native of Maumee, Ohio (Anthony Wayne H.S.), hit .455 for the second consecutive week, going 5-for-11 as BG took part in the Rafter Memorial, hosted by Kennesaw State, last weekend.
