Last month, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized the BGSU Women's Swimming and Diving team as Scholar All-American. The team's 3.69 GPA was the eighth-highest in Division I. The CSCAA has announced two Falcons received individual recognition. Talisa Lemke and Daisy Platts were both recognized as Honorable Mention Scholar All-Americans.
Under first-year coach Rickey Perkins, Lemke and Platts saw success at the 2019 MAC Championships. Lemke, a junior, won the 1-meter and 3-meter dive to earn first team All-MAC. Platts, a freshman, placed first in the 200 Backstroke to join Lemke on the All-MAC first team.
