Late run comes up just short for Bowling Green men's basketball at

DAVIDSON, N.C. — Bowling Green’s men’s basketball team cut a 14-point deficit down to one in the final minute and a half, but the Falcons were unable to come all the way back in a 91-87 loss Saturday at Davidson.

The Falcons (3-1) trailed 86-72 with 1:22 to go. But in a matter of 51 seconds, BGSU went on a 13-1 run to pull within 86-85 with 31 seconds remaining. Josiah Shackelford scored nine points during that stretch, and Javon Ruffin capped it with a layup.

Parker Friedrichsen ended the run with a dunk with 21 seconds to go to put Davidson back up by three.
