Bowling Green State University women's soccer standout Lacee Bethea has been named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, it was announced on Monday afternoon (Nov. 8).
Bethea, a native of Lexington, Ohio (Lexington), was named the MVP of the Mid-American Conference Tournament after helping the Falcons win the tourney title for the fourth consecutive season. Bethea scored a goal in each of BGSU's two wins en route to the crown.
She had the winning goal on Thursday (Nov. 4), with the lone marker of the contest in BG's 1-0 victory over Buffalo in the semifinals.
