Box Score (PDF) KENT, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team opened its weekend series at Kent State University on Friday (May 4) night with an 11-0 loss. The Golden Flashes scored two runs in the second, and led the rest of the way. The series opener was played at KSU's Schoonover Stadium.
"Obviously, their starter is a heck of a pitcher," said head coach . "We had a chance to get to him early. We put our first two runners on base in the second, but we couldn't take advantage. He settled in from there, and we didn't do a good enough job of making it tough on him.
