Sophomore Katie Kidwell has been named MAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week for her strong performances in Bowling Green's matchups versus the Central Michigan Chippewas on Friday, Oct. 11, and the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday, Oct. 13.
Kidwell had 14 kills and and a career high of 10 block assists against Central Michigan to complete a double-double, her first of the season.
Over the weekend, Kidwell totaled 14 total blocks, nine digs, and 21 kills.
