Justin Turner reaches a new level, and the NBA is watching

BOWLING GREEN — In Michael Huger’s first season at Bowling Green, in 2015-16, there was an absence of sound that signaled things needed change with the program the school hired him to lead.

In the off hours after practices, when players often choose to take more shots or voluntarily go through additional workouts, there was complete silence at the Stroh Center — nobody had stayed longer than needed. Huger said he had to borderline beg players to take advantage of extra gym time.

In the past four-plus years, however, Huger said that has not been an issue.
