Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University redshirt junior Joseph Davidson was named Academic All-District Thursday, as voted on by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Davidson will now be placed on the ballot for the prestigious Academic All-American team.
Davidson carries a 3.94 grade point average with a double major in finance and mathematics. He earned Academic All-District recognition a year ago and was second team Academic All-America. He is also a two-time Academic All-MAC selection and two time MAC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete.
One of the best punters in the country, Davidson ranks fifth in the nation with a 47.
