Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Medical Mutual Athletes of the Week, as selected by the strategic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Max Johnson and women's basketball player Lexi Fleming.
Max Johnson, a senior from Lakeville, Minn., totaled three points for the Falcons over the weekend en route to sweeping Ferris State. Johnson scored the game-winning goal in Friday's (Dec. 11) 3-2 victory with a redirect score with just 12 seconds remaining in the period.
